FIVB President Wei attends 2009 CAVB Congress

 Cairo, Egypt, September 16, 2009- FIVB President Mr. Jizhong Wei will attend the 2009 African Volleyball Confederation (CAVB) Ordinary Congress headed by CAVB President Dr. Amr Elwani to be held at El Djazair Hotel in Alger, Algeria 24 and 25 September reflecting a new support to the African continent added to his regular assistance since he took over the responsibility in June 2008. Wei who attended before the CAVB Congress in Cairo 2003 will attend all the congress sessions in an attempt to know the reality of the African volleyball and to see the early echoes of the CAVB Development Plan that was implemented early this year with the support of the World Volleyball governing Body FIVB.FIVB President will also see from near the activity of the 7 African Zones which will be the cornerstone in the development of the sport all over the continent.
