Bojan Janic (Serbia): “Abbiamo giocato male.
Aguirre Hierrezuelo (Cuba): “We entered the court to face a strong team. It’s been our best match in this tournament, Tomorrow we want to winâ€.
Robertlandy Simon (Cuba): “The Championship is like a war, we still miss the last battle. At the beginning we didn’t think we would have reached the final. We are used to play day by day. I’m proud of playing in Cubaâ€.
Yoandi Hidalgo Leal (Cuba): “We are in the final, that’s the important thing. Which one will be the opponent, we don’t care. This evening our supporters have been a key factorâ€.
Igor Kolakovic (head coach Serbia) – It’s been a hard match, congratulations to Cuba for having made it out. We fought hard, especially at the end of the final set, but Cuba blocked very well for three times: now we have to concentrate on tomorrow’s match.
Bojan Janic (Serbia): “We didn’t play well. I don’t even know how we could win two sets. We entered the court concentrated and we still were during the first set. Then we lacked energy and conceded too much to our opponents.â€.
Ivan Miljkovic (Serbia): “Unfortunately we lost by two points only. The match has been very intense until the end. We were good at replying to their attacks, but in the end they were better than usâ€.
Nikola Kovacevic (Serbia): “It’s been a great match, both of us tried to do our best. In many phases we went on point by point and the tie-break, too, has been a hard fought battle. After our advantage they reacted, and at the end we were not able to oppose anything moreâ€.
